Abstract
A sensor is employed in conjunction with an internal combustion engine having at least one hydrocarbon fuel combustion chamber and an air inlet for introducing air into the combustion chamber to sense termination of operation of the internal combustion engine.
The sensor closes a valve leading to a carburetor inlet of the engine when termination of operation of the internal combustion engine is sensed.
The valve and associated structure improve the performance of the internal combustion engine when the valve is in open position by enhancing fluid flow through the air inlet leading to the carburetor during operation of the internal combustion engine.
